The body of the all in one RAS System is made of PP. Hence, this minimizes the osmosis oxidation and provides durability against harsh operational conditions. Our RAS skids come fully assembled and hydrotested for fast and trouble-free installation on site. For optimum mechanical filtration capacity, the mechanical pressurized filter contains glass media to achieve better mechanical filtration and energy saving operation.

4.How do I choose the right filter for my pond?
  Consider:

  --Fish load (e.g., koi ponds require heavier filtration).

5.How often should I clean/maintain the filter?
  --Mechanical pads: Rinse weekly (use pond water to preserve bacteria).
  --Biological media: Clean sparingly (every 2–3 months) to avoid disrupting bacteria colonies.
  --UV: Replace annually.

6.Can I use the filter in winter?
   Yes, but:
   --Biological filters: Pause use if water freezes; bacteria become dormant.
   --Mechanical/UV filters: Run continuously if the pond isn’t frozen.

7.Do I need a UV filter if I already have a biological filter?
  --UV filters are optional but recommended for green water (algae) control. Biological filters alone won’t remove algae.

8.How long does it take for a new filter to establish beneficial bacteria?
--Typically 4–6 weeks. Use a bacterial starter culture to speed up the process.

9.What’s the warranty period?
--All filters come with a year limited warranty,lifelong technical support.
