How to design the location of the fish pond?

In the site planning and design, the location of the pool should be delineated first, the rest of the system equipment is established as far as possible around the pool, in order to reduce the length of the drainage pipeline and elbow, reduce the loss of pipe resistance.

At the same time, as far as possible, the circulation pool will be established in the higher part of the terrain, high water supply system, circulating water inlet pressure and outlet pressure will increase at the same time, can meet the drainage needs of more flat layers.

Reduced inlet pipe resistance of the pump

In the actual operation of the RAS system, the pump inlet pipe resistance in addition to pressure reduction, but also because the pump inlet pipe resistance is too large, easy to cause the pump into the water diffusion flow instability, the existence of spin phenomenon, easy to occur “wheezing” and “cavitation” phenomenon, reducing the pump suction capacity and efficiency, resulting in waste of energy.

How to choose the water pump?

The total energy consumption of China’s pumps accounts for about 20-25% of the country’s total power generation, while the average design efficiency of China’s pumps is 75%, which is about 5 percentage points lower than the international advanced level. Therefore, there is a great potential for energy saving in the selection of pump models.

In the design process of the circulating water system, the pump with more advanced hydraulic model design, efficiency and energy saving should be selected; in addition, every type of pump has its own reasonable and efficient operating range, the pump design and operation should be selected as far as possible or close to the pump’s own operating efficiency range.

Economic flow rate of pipeline

Selecting the size of the inlet and outlet pipe diameter will generally involve the size of investment and electricity consumption. Large diameter of the infrastructure costs high, electricity costs are saved; pipe diameter of a small investment savings, but the head loss, high pump head, electricity costs expensive.

Therefore, in the calculation of the economic flow rate of the pipeline, should first determine the life of the pipeline, the annual utilization rate, the size of the pipe diameter, and calculate the investment in the pipeline and the pipeline life, the amount of economic waste caused by the loss of internal pipe resistance, to the pipeline investment and operation of the amount of waste and the smallest pipe diameter and flow rate as the basis for design.

In addition, in order to alleviate the phenomenon of “water competition”, the circulating water system must also increase the pressure difference between the water supply and return lines.

Water Pump Matching

In the design process, the pump selection as far as possible to choose a large flow, motor voltage level of high pump. Usually, the pump with high flow rate and high motor voltage has the same high efficiency; meanwhile, it can also be used with some small pumps as regulation.
